When I swim in the ocean, my head goes quiet. I like running too, but when I run, I can still

think. When I'm in the ocean, I have to focus on getting under the wave or coming up for air. Kicking my legs. Moving my arms. And when I do get a second to stop, I'm so captivated by the beauty of the water and the glimmer of the sun reflecting on the ripples that I don't have time to think. And then it's time to dive into the waves and feel the water hit me. So when I get out, I feel cleansed. Because swimming in the ocean is a chance for me to feel 100 percent present without something else crowding my head.
